(“Promotion”) when you purchase a KOBA EV Insurance Policy during April 3- August 14, 2024.

Terms + Conditions apply.

  1. This Promotion is open to all KOBA EV insurance customers who meet the eligibility criteria for the promotion as detailed in these terms and conditions (“Promotional Offer”).
  2. The Promoter is KOBA Insurance Pty Ltd ABN 33 642 789 286 (KOBA) of 12 Dennis Street, Heidelberg Heights, VIC 3081. The Promoter’s contact number is +61 3 6159 2000. KOBA distributes this product as an authorised representative (AR 001306906) of Insurtech Solutions Pty Ltd, ABN 21 095 612 276 AFSL 241055 (IS). IS acts under a binding authority as agent of Pacific Insurance International. The insurer is Pacific International Insurance Pty Ltd (Pacific), ABN 83 169 311 193, regulated by the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) as an insurance company.
  3. To qualify for this Promotional Offer, entrants must:
    a. Be 17 years or over (entrants under the age of 18 are only eligible to enter the Promotion subject to parental/guardian consent);
    b. Purchase a new KOBA electric vehicle comprehensive car insurance policy (‘KOBA EV Insurance Policy’) during the Campaign Period;
    c. Hold the above policy past the 21-day cooling off period;
    d. Download the Evie Networks App for free;
    e. Meet all other requirements in these Terms and Conditions (“Eligible Customer”);
  4. Directors, management, officers, employees and their immediate families, of the Promoter, retailers, suppliers, associated entities, service providers and agencies associated with this Promotion are ineligible to enter.
  5. The Promotion commences at 12.01am (AEDT) on April 3rd, 2024 and ends at 11.59pm (AEST) on August 14th, 2024 (‘Campaign Period’).
  6. To receive one (1) entry into the Promotional offer, entrants must access the Promoter’s website at www.kobainsurance.com.au/quote, get a quote and purchase a new KOBA EV Insurance Policy during the Campaign Period.
  7. One (1) winner will win a total of ten (10) EV public charging vouchers (‘Prize’) with the Evie Charging Network (‘Evie Networks’), with each voucher valued at AU$750.00 being issued every year for 10 years. This out-of-home calculation is defined as the annual average usage of Evie Networks’ charging network by their customers as AU$750 per year, with an average vehicle lifetime ownership of approximately 10 years (source: ABS), resulting in a total maximum prize value of AU$7,500.00 (‘Total Prize Value’).
  8. The Prize will be procured by KOBA and delivered to the winner by Evie Networks via email to activate on their Evie Charging App. Each voucher will be AU$750. Each voucher will be valid for up to 12 months from the date of issue or until the credit is exhausted, whichever is earlier. A new voucher will be issued annually on the anniversary of the first voucher issue date and valid for 12 months or until the credit is exhausted, whichever is earlier until the conclusion of 10 years.
  9. The Prize will be provided and run by a third party, Evie Networks. Redemption of the Prize is subject to Evie Networks’ terms and conditions available at https://evie.com.au/terms-of-service/
  10. One (1) entry will automatically be entered for each new Policy holder of a KOBA EV Insurance Policy purchased by an Eligible Customer, with each entry having an equal chance of winning the Prize.
  11. The first eligible entry drawn by the Promoter will be the winner of the Prize.
  12. This is a game of chance, not skill. The winner will be drawn at random via electronic draw at 10.30am (AEST) on 5 September 2024 (‘Draw Date’), at 12 Dennis Street, Heidelberg Heights, VIC 3081, Australia.
  13. The winner will be notified by the Promoter by phone and in writing via the email address that is associated with the winner’s relevant new KOBA EV Insurance Policy within five (5) business days of the Draw Date with details on how to claim the Prize. The winner’s name and details will be published on the Promoter’s website at www.kobainsurance.com.au (‘Promoter’s Website’) by 19 September 2024 and will remain on the Promoter’s Website for 30 days.
  14. The Promoter will take all reasonable steps to identify and notify the winner.
  15. The winner must respond by email to the Promoter’s above notification to claim the prize.
  16. If the Promoter is not reasonably able to contact the winner, or if the winner declines to receive or claim the Prize or is ineligible to accept the Prize within three (3) months and one (1) day of the Draw Date, the Promoter will hold an unclaimed prize draw at the same location, time and via the same method as detailed in clause 12, on 9 December 2024 (‘Unclaimed Prize Draw’).
  17. The Unclaimed Prize Draw winner will be notified by the Promoter by phone and in writing via the email address that is associated with the Unclaimed Prize Draw winner’s relevant new KOBA EV Insurance Policy within five (5) business days of the Unclaimed Prize Draw date with details on how to claim the Prize. The Unclaimed Prize Draw winner’s name and details will be published on the Promoter’s Website on 23 December 2024 and will remain on the Promoter’s Website for 30 days.
  18. The Promoter will take all reasonable steps to identify and notify the Unclaimed Prize Draw winner
  19. The Unclaimed Prize Draw winner must respond by email to the Promoter’s above notification to claim the prize.
  20. The Prize or any unused portion of the Prize cannot be split in any way except as expressly stated in these Terms and Conditions, cannot be transferred and is not redeemable for cash.
  21. The Promotional Offer is not available in conjunction with any other promotional offers which may run from time to time on KOBA electric vehicle car insurance policies.
  22. The Promoter reserves the right to verify that an Eligible Customer satisfies these terms and conditions before awarding the Prize.
  23. The Promoter reserves the right to suspend, vary, amend, extend, cancel or withdraw, all or part of this Promotional Offer to the extent permitted by law, in circumstances where an event beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control adversely affects the conduct of this Promotion, for any reason and without notice, at the Promoter’s sole discretion.
  24. If any provision in this Promotional Offer is held to be invalid, void, or unenforceable, such provision (or the part of it that is making it invalid, void, or unenforceable) will be struck out and not affect the validity of and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
  25. The Promotional Offer is non-transferable, non-negotiable, and final.
  26. If a prize (or any part of a prize) becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter may substitute the prize (or the relevant part of the prize) with an alternative prize to the equal value and/or specification, unless to do so would be prohibited by law.
  27. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded, restricted or modified by law, under no circumstances will the Promoter be liable for any loss, expense, liability, impost or cost (whether direct, indirect or inconsequential) arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, without limitation the following which an entrant may incur in relation to:
    a. the participation in the Promotional Offer;
    b. the drawing, awarding or delivering of the Prize;
    c. any change to the Promotional Offer or its terms and conditions;
    d. the expiry or termination of the Promotional Offer;  e. any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control);
    f. any theft, unauthorised access or third-party interference;
    g. any entry that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter;
    h. any variation in market value to that stated in these terms and
    conditions;
    i. any tax implications; or
    j. the Prize or use of the Prize.
  28. Entrants release and discharge the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) from any and all claims or causes of action, known or unknown, arising from or relating to the Promotion or the Promotional Offer.
  29. Entrants agree to these terms and conditions and the terms and conditions from Evie Networks as a condition of their participation in the Promotion.
  30. Personal information including the entrants’ name, address, telephone number, and email address will be collected by the Promoter and used for the purposes of conducting this Promotion. This may require disclosure to third parties, including but not limited to prize suppliers such as Evie Networks or any regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may also use or disclose the entrants’ personal information for marketing, promotional, and publicity purposes.
  31. By entering this Promotion, the entrants consent to the use of their personal information in the manner set out in these terms and conditions.
  32. The entrants may access, change or update their personal information by emailing the Promoter at [email protected]. A copy of the Promoter’s privacy policy is available at www.kobainsurance.com.au/privacy. The privacy policy contains information about how individuals may access or correct personal information or make a privacy-related complaint.
  33. The entrants acknowledge and agree that this Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or affiliated with any social media platform like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube
  34. The entrants confirm that they release Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube from all claims based on, related to, or arising from the Promotion.
  35. The Promoter is not responsible for any loss, damage or injury to the entrants resulting from entering or participating in this Promotion including arising from any comments made, or material published, by third parties about the entrants on any social media platform in connection with this Promotion.
  36. This Promotion, and any claim or dispute between the Promoter and an entrant are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. In the event of a dispute concerning the conduct of the Promotion or claiming the Prize, the entrants must contact the Promoter to attempt to resolve the dispute in good faith. If the matter cannot be resolved, the entrants agree that the decision of the Promoter will be final.
